Winning kids hearts
SwarSketches is a unique series, where the kids get to see/hear music in a way they can relate to, and slowly step into recognizing the notes. My daughter stepped foot into this and absolutely enjoyed the session. She was able to relate to the concept! Miles to go, but this first step is encouraging and engaging kids well Congrats Madhumita Bhaskar for winning kids hearts with this series.
Cant wait for the next session
What a wonderful and innovative way to learn music! Niyati loved being a part of it and can’t wait for the next session already.
Very creative and innovative
Madhumita is wonderful with kids and has a very creative and innovative way of teaching music. The sessions are so engaging and my child just loves them (and I loved them just as much). Looking forward to attending more such sessions. Keep up the great work!
Out of the box
Madhu is very creative and engages the kids extremely well, introducing a new concept to elevate the pitch was really out of box thinking, my 5 year old daughter enjoyed it and definitely wants to attend more.
Very modern and interesting approach to learn basics 👍

An enjoyable hour
What an enjoyable hour with Madhumita Bhaskar! My kid was lost in the story and she was beautifully brought to the basic elements of music. Innovative ways of introducing music to young ones! Way to go ShrotaHouse They all sang and screamed together. Absolute fun! I enjoyed it listening to it too.
Pique your child’s musical curiosity
My 5 yo absolutely enjoyed the session. What a unique way to not only introduce music to kids but also teach them to appreciate and enjoy it!! Madhumita made it so interactive that the kids (and the parents too!!) were engaged right from the beginning. If you are looking for innovative avenues to pique your child’s musical curiosity, look no further. I highly recommend the products and offerings from Shrota House. A big shoutout to its founder, Madhumita for this initiative.
They enjoyed and learned!
“A big applause and thank you ShrotaHouse for such a wonderful session. It was fun filled evening for kids. They learned basics about music by listening to story. They enjoyed and learned..”
A great concept!
Yesterday’s session was too good really unique way to put forth music in minds of kiddos. Really a great concept
My kid enjoyed it!
My kid enjoyed it and started practicing the notes that were taught for the famous rhymes on her keyboard. She was able to relate the Carnatic notes to the rhymes and understand eventually what “notes” mean. She loved the story as well.
Absolute delight!!
The session was an absolute delight!!
What else can parents ask for!

Fun-filled sessions!
My son had a fun-filled session today, thank you so much for your patience and energy!!

This organization has to be made known!
ShrotaHouse is doing an amazing job by conducting these very special interviews which motivate & educate these ‘little minds’!
This organization has to be made known to more and more people…
Good luck! And keep up the good work!
Creative and innovative!
A creative and innovative way to introduce music to kids. Kids had fun and enjoyed the workshop with Madhumita. Wonderful and fun-filled way to engage kids!!
Treat for parents and children!
Madhumita has a wonderful way with kids and her creative storytelling keeps them involved throughout the session. She draws images out of the children’s imagination and immediately brings them to life on the screen with her admirable sketching skills. And she seamlessly connects these with musical notes, making the children understand music through fun-filled interaction. A treat as much for parents as for children!
Wonderfully conducted!
My daughter attended the 7 day workshop and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Madhumita covered the concepts in a fun-filled way with stories and sketches. Wonderfully conducted, keep up the good work!
Looking forward to more sessions 🙂

You introduce our children to Indian classical music in an innovative and creative way!
I saw my son Dhruv Bhama’s video introducing the “Little Khayal series” where he interviews a legendary Sitarist! Thank you Madhumita Bhaskar, and ShrotaHouse to introduce our children to the Indian classical music in an innovative and creative way {unique in the musical world} and giving him this opportunity!
This summer camp experience will be one of their core memories for Life

This turned out to be an excellent decision for him (and for us)!
With our four-year-old showing a keen interest in music since his early years, we were looking for an activity in Bangalore to not only keep him engaged over the summer but also develop his fledgling interest in music. We came across ShrotaHouse, and following a brief conversation with Madhumita, its founder, decided to enroll him into their introductory summer camp this year. This turned out to be an excellent decision for him (and for us) as the camp introduced him to the basics of Indian classical music – svaras, raag and taal – in creative, innovative, and interesting ways, even whilst remaining simple and accessible enough to keep an active four-year-old engaged. Our child remained enthused throughout the four-week period of the camp and looked forward to going back each day to “Madhu Ma’am’s” class throughout, even when we were on holiday in between. We were impressed with ShrotaHouse’s approach that focused on instilling concepts and ideas without underestimating a child’s intelligence. We felt that it was a far more effective and sustainable approach to engendering interest in classical music rather than focus on singing or structure alone. We would like to thank Madhu (and the entire ShrotaHouse term) for their lovely introduction to the world of classical music, and, as the camp has left him wanting for more, hope to continue our association with ShrotaHouse in some form in the future.
As a parent I witnessed a lot of change in my son’s interest towards music
My son Adith attended the summer camp organized by ShrotaHouse. He thoroughly enjoyed the camp and I must highlight here that Madhumita made sure each kid learnt something from the camp. As a parent I witnessed a lot of change in my son’s interest towards music and the overall interest in learning something new. Thank you Madhumita for organising such a wonderful camp for the tiny little ones.
I would definitely recommend Shrotahouse
